This has been a very unpleasant
day. It has rained all day. I have been at work on my buff waist. Melia has
been helping me. We have got about half done.
Pa is about sick with a hard cold.
He has been shelling corn, and the boys have been repairing a cultivator.
I had to commence taking drops to
cure night sweats, but I don’t use [?] it well. It Hoped [?] once but has
commenced.
