This has been a dull, cloudy day, but not very cold. Pa has been helping Mr. Stevens kill a cow to day. We have been doing a little of everything.
I think my cold is some better to night.
Will has gone _____ town this evening. I expect a letter to night. It is raining this evening while the wind blows a gale.
