This has been quite a pleasant day.
There was a hard frost last night and the night before, too.
We have been very busy to day
getting straightened up after hop picking. Maria washed this forenoon, and this
afternoon we cleaned the front chamber. The men folks have been cutting corn.
They finished to night.
Rob is helping David cut corn.
