This has been a beautiful day. We washed
this forenoon, and this afternoon Clara and Melia and I went to the swamp and
picked cranberries. We picked 2 quarts.
Mrs. McHan and Mrs. Gallager called
here this afternoon.
Pa went to the village this
forenoon and got his money of Crawford and then went to pay Mr. Hale, but he
was not at home.
The boys have been husking corn.
