This as been some warmer than it was yesterday. We moped and baked and cleaned up generally to day. Clara went down town this forenoon and got some glass to mend up the window, and this afternoon she had company! Emma Sheppers and Abba Ruggles.
Rob has been at work for David.
Our folks finished gathering apples to day.
Sunday, October 11, 1868
This has been a pleasant day, only rather cold. Maria came up to see us to day. She got here at 1 o’clock, and Mrs. Hanton came with her. She staid until dark, and then we all went to a Sabbath school concert. It was very good.
David was here to day a little while. He came for his shirt that we had been fixing for him.
Maria went back to Mrs. Briggs to night. She wrote some to Ruth while she staid.
