Sunday, December 27; and Monday, December 28, 1868

Sunday, December 27, 1868
This has been a stormy day. It has snowed most all day and it is very cold to night.
Maria and Rob have both gone back to night. Will has gone down to hear how Julia is. I could hardly wait until he gets back, but he says she is about the same as she was yesterday, so I think she will get over it now she has lingered so long.

This has been quite a pleasant day. We have been melting snow to wash with tomorrow. We are out of soft water.
Mr. Lyon was here this morn to see Rob, and we had a peddler here this afternoon. We sold him our paper rags. We got some black trim, thread, and some needles, and a lead pencil.

Will has been down town. He says Julia is better. He got a letter from Add.
