Tuesday, November 10, 1868
This has been another stormy day. It has rained most all day. The wind has blew a gale this afternoon. We iorned and done some sewing. I made 5 blocks and cut out some.
The boys have not both been at home to day. Rob has been at work for David to day, pulling up _____roughs on the barn. Pa has been at work to John Mendham, butchering, to day.
Wednesday, November 11, 1868
This has been a very wintry day. It has snowed all day, and it has been real cold. I have been piecing some to day. I don’t feel very smart, for I have a visitor to day.
The boys have both been at home to day, drawing and cutting wood.
We baked bread.
Mr. Harper was here to day. It __ it had this story weather.
Can’t get any signers.
