This has been a wintry day indeed! It has snowed all day and it has been very cold.
We have been piecing. We commenced on Ruth’s blocks this afternoon. We made 7 album blocks.
David Hoten was here for dinner to day. He came in to have Will help him dig a fot [?] so they went out after dinner and dug. Him and Rob came home a few minutes this morning to get some lath [?]. He expects to finish there to day and go to Mr. Gillets’ to night.
