This has been a clear and sunny day
but very cold. The wind has been so cold I could not go out long at a time. My
physic has operated good, and I think I feel better for it.
I have been sewing to day. I made 3
blocks, but not the same as I was making last week. They are smaller.
Melia thinks she feels better to
day. She washed.
Mother went over to Mrs. Harper’s
to day for some milk.

Niece Notes: Mrs. Harper was a neighbor who lived close to the Weavers, possibly next door. She provided milk for much of the neighborhood with her small dairy farm.
