This has been a rainy day, but not
very cold. I have been sewing again to day. I have made 2 blocks.
Melia and Will are out in the
garden now, digging up the old lilac bushes that stood on the borders.
I don’t think I feel quite as well
as I did yesterday. Mother is not very well to day; she has got a lame back.
She has been writing to Clara to day.
