It has been a beautiful day, for we had a splendid rain at noon. It was quite a severe storm! The lightning was very sharp. It struck a tree just above George’s barn and split it all to pieces!
I have got my sacyne and dress done except the trimming, and that I have not got.
It rained again this evening, real hard.
