Thursday, July 9, 1868

Another hot day. Henry is a good deal better.
We went down town this afternoon. I got me a new dress. I got 12 yards, and it was 40¢ per yard. We went up to TWN and took tea, and Auntie Hubbard came home with us. She is going to pick and dry currant while she stays.
I saw Cousin Tommie to day for the first time since I came.

Neice Notes: I have no idea what TWN is. Auntie Hubbard is likely Henry's mother/Add's mother-in-law.
