Saturday, July 4, 1868

This has been a dreadful warm day! Annah and Clara was down this afternoon and so was the Children.
Our man that was boarding here has gone to Chesning [?] to see a Cousin that is living there. He is coming back Monday.
Henry has been cultivating his corn out to day. There was another swarm of bees out to day. I have been sewing on Add’s Chemise to day.

How we do need rain!

Neice Notes: The boarder likely refers to the man who was buying wool on July 2.
