It is a little cooler than it has been to day! Mr. Ball came up this morning before we eat breakfast. He was up the river to see about getting some currants. Add sold him one bushel for 2 dollars, and after breakfast he drove to Annah’s, and I went up with him to make my dress. Found Annah washing, and George and his men busy in the hay field and the harvest field. He has got 4 men to work for him!
