This has been a stormy day, but now very cold. It is splendid sleighing again now. It rained enough last night to make the snow pack good. Will helped Mr. McLean [?] butcher 2 hogs this forenoon and this afternoon went down town. I made some pies and bread this forenoon, and this afternoon done my mending, and this evening commenced to make Clara’s new calico dress.
