This has been a cloudy, dull day and pretty cold. We washed this forenoon and this afternoon been sewing, and this evening I did part of the iorning.
The girls went over to Maria’s to see why she did not come up yesterday. They found Mrs. Andrews quite sick and had ever since Wednesday. I feel sorry for Maria, for I know how hard it is for her. I hope she is better.
