A beautiful day, but very warm. I have been sewing to day. Annah and George went down town to day to do some trading. They sold a heifer 2 years old this morning for 20 dollars, so they went to get things [?] they need.
Annah got her a new dress and parasol, and she got 25 yards of cotton cloth for sheets, and she changed shoes.
