Well, this has been a showery day! We went down town. It commenced to rain when we were about ½ way there, but we did not get wet.
Went to Tom’s and took dinner and then went down the street and done some trading.
I got Clara a new shalu [?] delaine’s for a dress. It was 15¢ per yard, and I got some cloth to make her [?] a _____ at 50¢ per yard.
