This has been another very warm day. I have finished sweeping the chambers, and then Add moped them of. Henry walked to [?] Mr. Machlean’s. Washed sheets to day. Finished my letter to day and sent it off. Add baked bread to day. The wheat looks beautiful after the rain. It is as high as the fence!

Neice Notes: "Moping" means "mopping." Along with "iorn" for "iron," it's one of Celia's two consistent spelling errors. I've also noticed a change in prepositions over the years. Where we would say "up," Celia often says "of." Hopefully that clears up a bit of confusion!
