This has been almost a rainy day. It commenced to rain at 5 o’clock this morning, and then it rained till noon, and then it cleared of, and Henry went to work. He is building a fine [?] on the flats. Add washed, iorned, and baked bread and pies and cake. I have been knitting on my stocking. I expected Annah down for me to day, but she did not come.
